When you have young children, they become, of course, the focus of your life. One of my responses to the joy of the children (and to the sadness of being away, when required by work) has been to write a series of rather unserious songs. (The boys have since, not surprisingly, become older, and to a certain extent the songs are no longer relevant. On the other hand, the songs are just as silly as they were when I wrote them!)
